Terms of Service

Welcome to Ziggo, a direct on-demand ride, food delivery and logistics service operated by Ziggo (Pvt) Ltd. These Terms govern your use of the Ziggo app, website and related services ("Services"). By using Ziggo, you agree to these Terms. Ziggo acts as the direct service provider and merchant of record for all transactions processed through our platform.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use Ziggo as a rider, and 21+ to drive or partner with us. You must use your real identity and provide accurate information.

2. Account responsibilities

• Keep your account credentials secure.
• You're responsible for all activity on your account.
• Notify us immediately at security@ziggo.lk if your account is compromised.

3. Using the services

• Use Ziggo only for lawful purposes.
• Do not harass, threaten or harm any driver, partner or other user.
• Do not attempt to hack, reverse-engineer or interfere with our platform.
• Smoking, alcohol, drugs, weapons and dangerous items are not permitted during trips.

4. Payments and refunds

Ziggo (Pvt) Ltd is the merchant of record for all payments made through the Ziggo platform. By confirming a booking or order, you authorise Ziggo to charge the total amount to your selected payment method. Fares and prices are shown before you confirm. We may add charges for cancellations after a grace period, waiting time, additional stops, or damages caused during a trip. Refunds are processed via the Help center, normally within 24 hours.

5. Cancellation policy

You may cancel a booking for free within the grace period (typically 3 minutes). After that, a cancellation fee may apply. Drivers and partners may also cancel under specific circumstances detailed in the app.

6. Service standards & liability

Ziggo is a direct on-demand service provider. We operate, manage and are responsible for the delivery of all services offered through the Ziggo platform, including rides, food delivery, parcel delivery and logistics. We maintain quality and safety standards across all service categories and are accountable for the experience you receive. Our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by the laws of Sri Lanka.

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, abuse our staff or partners, or engage in fraud. You may close your account at any time from the in-app settings.

8. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. If changes are material, we'll notify you in-app and by email at least 14 days before they take effect.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka. Disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Colombo.
